Quality & Process

Nothing loads until it matches the sample you approved

Quality in this trade is not a slogan — it is a chain of checks between the field and the container. Here is exactly where ours sit.

  1. 01

    Sourcing

Bought at the growing belt, not the wholesale market — Idukki for cardamom, Erode and Salem for turmeric, Guntur and Byadgi for chilli, Wayanad for pepper, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh for pulses. Lots are inspected at the yard before purchase.

  2. 02

    Cleaning

Destemming, de-stoning, air separation and washing where the commodity permits, followed by controlled drying to the contracted moisture — 10% for powders, 12% for spices, 12.5% for rice.

  3. 03

    Sortex & grading

Colour sorting, size calibration and density separation to the exact grade ordered, then magnetic and metal-detector passes before packing. Rejects never re-enter an export lot.

  4. 04

    Laboratory testing

Third-party analysis for moisture, purity, admixture, aflatoxin and pesticide residue against the destination market's limits — EU, FDA, GCC or as your contract specifies. A Certificate of Analysis travels with the shipment.

  5. 05

    Packing

PP, lined PP, jute, vacuum, mesh or carton, from 1 kg retail to 50 kg bulk — stitched, stencilled, lot-coded and palletised. Private label to your artwork on request.

  6. 06

    Documentation & despatch

Fumigation, stuffing supervision and container sealing, then the full document set couriered and emailed the day the vessel sails.

Specification sheets

Published, not negotiated after loading

Every category carries a written grade chart — size, colour, purity, moisture, curcumin or piperine where relevant, use and packing. You choose the grade, we sample it, and the container is loaded against that sheet.
